Hello is overrated...

Yes, I said it. I know I'm not the only one who's been thinking it either. Everyone starts off by saying 'hello'. Well screw it. Hellos are overrated and overused. How about I start off by saying 'BAM'. That's much more interesting and attention-grabbing, which is exactly what I'm shooting for.

My pen name is Naomi D Larret, and I'm a writing and reading aficionado. And my favorite type of books and my favorite  kind of writing is fiction (and isn't it just strange how 'aficionado' seems to have the word 'fiction' in it, a-ficion'ado). Yes, yes, my musing are quite strange. But if you would have read my profile (which maybe you did), you would know that I am the epitome of oddness. But in the good way of course, of course. I consider myself a very fun person to be around, and so do my friends and family (or so I believe). I physically live in Godric's Hollow (don't you dare ask me what that is or where it is because I will avada kedavra you with my yew wood wand {oh yeah, it's made of the same type of wood as Voldemorts, I'm so kick ass}).  Please do try to keep up with my Harry Potter lingo, it would mean a lot to see that someone survived my lengthy intro.

But mentally and emotionally, I live in a world not known to muggle, witch, wizard, or any other type of creature lurking about my blog. I live in what I like to call 'Kick Ass World'. The place where all my wildest fantasies come true and every idea in my mind is easily formed into words and written on paper. Where books are free and dark chocolate is plenty.

Now that i've given you some insight into my head, how about I dive straight into it.

What are my intentions with this blog?
a. To create a sanctum where I can vent to unsuspecting strangers about a lot of anything and everything.
b. To get word out of my projects and promote not only my works but the works of others and the like.
c. Give suggestions, opinions, advice, and perspective to all those who follow my blog on writing, reading, life, and an assortment of other random things.
d. To gain and keep readers in touch with my projects.

My main goal?
1. To build a name for myself in the writers' world.

I think that about covers everything one needs in their 'welcome' spew.

If you have any questions or concerns, leave a comment and I'll try to get to you as soon as I can.
