People call me Fynn.
The quirky girl who hangs around the department stores and never puts down her Polaroid. I paint paintings and draw drawings. I take pictures of life as it flashes by me in a crazy daze, and I smile at random things that stand out against the mundane background.
That was, until I started to see things.
See things in my paintings, and in my pictures.
Things that people should never have to see.
Things that people like me see.
See things in my paintings, and in my pictures.

And that’s when I stopped.
I gave up on my art, I put it all away, I left behind my camera, and swore I’d pick it up another day.
But another day became another month, and another month became another year, and soon enough, I hadn’t taken a picture, or painted a painting in what felt like a lifetime.
My inexperienced hands became weak and feeble, no longer my greatest tools.

Then I met him. And I made the same mistake over again. A subconscious choice that would lead me down a dangerous path.
No one could have warned me as to what the consequences of my decision would be.
And at this point, I’m not sure if a warning would have stopped me.
